It was an unexpected perfect day. The weather cooperated and the family participated! The food was amazing! Vegetarian chili, halibut steaks, yam fries, quinoa salad and roasted brussel sprouts! The company who came from across the street were so welcome. We celebrated the blending of our two families for the first time around the Birch Bay table. The first of many I pray. Sam continues to grow and learn by leaps and bounds and each time we are together he has many more newly acquired skills and talents to show Grandma and Grandpa. He is talking, talking and more talking. He soaks up new information like a sponge and I have NEVER EVER met a child that young who has such good manners. Please, thank you, you're welcome and bless you's are just part of his growing vocabulary. And, he makes me feel like a million dollars when I enter a room and all I can hear is his little voice so delighted, saying..."Grandma, Grandma, Grandma!" Thank you Mike and Jennifer for bringing Sam to us this weekend. More wonderful memories.
