While the cat is away, the Grandma will play!

These two precious little bundles are enjoying the beach and the sun in Hawaii this week with their parents so Bob and I are heading south tomorrow to spend some time with Harry and Stella. I am so looking forward to snooping around their house without Jen telling me to get out of her bedroom or a drawer or her makeup. No one has a nicer or greater selection of beauty products than my eldest daughter and I enjoy using them all in copious amounts whenever I am there because I simply can't afford them myself. I like getting into her closets in order to try on her trendy jeans. Naturally I wear her jewelry when I go out on the town and I may possibly have the need eat meat at her kitchen table. Well, not sure if I can be that brazen. She may have a hidden camera. Every else is going to happen.

Big time.

Vegas Baby!

This past weekend I had the pleasure of spending four full days with Tara. It was so wonderful to have her all to myself. I miss her terribly, despite the fact I've have almost nine years to adjust! Tara is so easy going, she loves many of the same things I love and we share a big love of photography so it made for a very comfortable and fun vacation. I love taking photos of Tara. She is patient and allows me to put my camera in her face constantly but understands when I shriek if she tries to take mine. We ate alot of food in Vegas. Lots. Of. Food. Thankfully, we walked for miles and miles and miles. We hit the sack before midnight every night which is probably taboo in Vegas but we were good with it. On the plane, we read our books. We didn't get into any heavy topics, but we also spent some quality time talking about our futures and what we were looking forward to and hoping for.

Jennifer and Jordan. Who's next up for a trip away with Mom? Stop fighting over me for Pete's sake.

Thanks Tara for coming away with your old mom. Thank you dear Devin for sharing her. It was wonderful. It was heaven. I love you. Mom. xo
